Let's Get Ready for Fall DIY! by Miriam

I have found my sewing motivation once again! Yes, yes..It's back. Thank goodness!  Being a SAHM and student, I had become overwhelmed with life and when my sewing machine took a spill earlier this year, I threw in the towel. Recently, my sewing machine was resurrected and I started my hunt for an easy, get-into-the-groove sewing project.I happened to be browsing through the bloggers that I follow when I stumbled upon Cluck Cluck Sew and saw this DIY pillowcase tutorial! LOVE.IT. There it was -my motivation! I grabbed my old couch pillows, gathered up all my scraps, and began cutting and pressing and cutting and pressing, using only the fabrics I already had -and this is what I came up with...

I think I'm going to have to size-down the pillowcase in order for it to look more sharp, but I think it came out pretty good! What do you think?
